Even in the People's Republic of China, South Korea, the Republic of China (Taiwan) or Singapore -countries that have overcome the hardest phases of the pandemic-, the impact has meant a fall in their respective GDPs in the first quarter of 2020.

  • The travels made by governments and large institutions within the framework of their international relations - to deal with State affairs, the negotiation and conclusion of treaties, agreements, covenants, international conventions, the normal course of diplomatic and consular relations, or the participation in international conferences, among others - are dynamic and have a high positive impact at the economic and social level.

  • As an entity specialized in the travel of governments and high institutions, GOVERSYS joins the actions aimed at reactivating tourism. We have launched these new solutions and initiatives designed to reactivate tourism, thus helping countries and regions in their recovery.

  • On 1st and 2nd November 2016, the 5th Summit on City Tourism “Cities: Local culture for global travellers” was held in Luxor (Egypt).

    This Summit was organized by the UNWTO jointly with the Arab Republic of Egypt in which the UNWTO took advantage to launch an initiative named “The Mayors for Tourism”.

  • The research processes made on the field of Governmental and Institutional Travel and Tourism and the standardization and protocols of this new sector for the first time finally framed, has lead Diego Fuentes to get a special recognition to his expertise by being designated as UNWTO Expert.
